A dry motor is a dead motor. Omlynk fills the overhead tank only while the shared underground sump actually has water. The decision happens on the pump controller itself over local radio, so it keeps protecting your motor even when Wi-Fi is down.

Omlynk protects against dry-run and overflow today. Deeper electrical protections (thermal, over/under-voltage and float sensing) are on the roadmap and will light up as that hardware ships.
