Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 July 2026
Omlynk builds smart water automation for homes. This policy explains what we collect while Omlynk is in private beta, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and we keep it honest. If anything here changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to identify your account and manage who can access your devices.
- Device & tank data. Water levels, pump run history, calibration, signal strength and settings for the devices you connect, so the app can show your tank and run your pump.
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email you give us so we can send you an invite.
- Basic technical data. Standard logs needed to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To operate the app: show your live level, run and protect your pump, and sync between the people you share access with.
- To send you service messages and, if you asked, your early-access invite.
- To keep the service reliable and secure.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show ads.
Sharing & roles
When you invite someone to a device, they can see the data their role allows (for example, a Tenant can see the level and control the pump; a Viewer can only watch). You can change a person's role or revoke access at any time, and their access is removed.
Where your data lives
Omlynk runs on secure cloud infrastructure hosted in India (AWS ap-south-1). Safety-critical controls such as overflow cut-off and dry-run protection run on the device itself and keep working even without an internet connection.
Your choices
- Ask us to access or delete your account data by emailing nitin1518@gmail.com.
- Leave the waitlist any time by replying to our email or contacting us.
- Remove a shared device from your account to stop syncing its data.
